All The DC Movies Wonder Woman Is Currently Expected To Appear In
If this summer proved one thing about the DCEU, it has to be the fact that many people are falling in love with Diana Prince. Gal Gadot's Amazon warrior made a huge impression at the box office, and Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman has gone on to become one of the most successful DC films in recent memory. Given that success, it only makes sense that Diana will soon show up in plenty more silver screen DC adventures. On that note, let's dive in and look at every film she is currently expected to appear in over the next few years.
Justice League
Following the release of Wonder Woman, the next movie on deck for Gal Gadot's Diana Prince is Zack Snyder's Justice League. The film is set to debut on November 17, 2017, and it will represent the first ever team-up between every major DC hero -- not just the DC Trinity. The film's production has captured headlines for its insanely expensive reshoots under the direction of Joss Whedon, but many reports have also indicated that the film will place an increased emphasis on Diana following the success of her solo movie.
Wonder Woman 2
With the first Wonder Woman becoming a massive success for Warner Bros. and DC, a sequel only makes sense. Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins are now attached to the project (in a historic deal that has made Patty Jenkins the highest-paid female director in Hollywood history), and Wonder Woman 2 is now set to debut in theaters on December 13, 2019. We don't know the exact plot of the film yet, but Jenkins has recently suggested that she wants to tell the story of how Diana finally comes to America, and possibly set it in the 1980s.
Justice League 2
Steppenwolf and the forces of Apokolips will force the League to unite in Justice League, but the team will continue to stick together. We don't know exactly how Justice League 2 will pan out yet (Justice League 1 may no longer be ending on a cliffhanger), but it appears that Gal Gadot is confirmed to return (possibly in 2019) as the princess from Themyscira. Much has changed after some of DC's major creative overhauls behind the scenes, so we will just have to wait for the first film to debut in November before we can know exactly where Wonder Woman and the team will go from here.
The Flash: Flashpoint
Following the announcement of The Flash: Flashpoint, rumors surfaced that Gal Gadot could reprise her role as Diana Prince in Barry Allen's movie. Now a report from Deadline seems to confirm that rumor. However, in the source material, Flashpoint gives audiences a far more brutal and violent version of Wonder Woman (because it takes place in a darker timeline) in which she finds herself engaged in a vicious war against Aquaman and Atlantis. Details on Flashpoint remain scarce at this point, but that would be a fresh take on this typically hopeful heroine.
