Park Chan-wook's legacy as a filmmaker is already more than secure, thanks to his beloved "vengeance" trilogy made in his native Korea-- Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Lady Vengeance, and most famous of all, Oldboy. But Park isn't content to rest on his laurels-- he's taking on the enormous challenge of making his first English-language film, a thriller called Stoker that's looking better and better the more we get a look at it.

You might have caught the film's first trailer back in September, which promised a supremely creepy thriller with a dynamite cast, and now Empire has unveiled a new video in addition to a truly remarkable international teaser poster. Take a look at both of them below:

For some reason that poster opens up all kinds of new possibilities for how creepy this movie could be-- it's something about those twisting branches, and all the random items stuck in there, with Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska's heads sprouting out of it. Matthew Goode isn't pictured in the poster, but as you can see in the promo video he's a major part of the film's action, appearing as the mysterious Uncle Charlie after the death of the father of Wasikowska's character, and Kidman's husband. I don't know if the film actually includes the kind of pencil drawing featured here, but it's certainly adding a level of intrigue-- and making the pencil-work poster even more interesting.

If you're especially into that poster, Empire is actually giving away four of the just 1000 that will be made. You can click here to find out how to win one. Stoker comes to theaters March 1.
