While still preparing to give birth to her newborn daughter Dream Kardashian, Blac Chyna employed the help of fiancé Rob Kardashian, mom Tokyo Toni, and Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble to record a short video depicting the whole group unmoving, pretending that Chyna was at the height of the birthing process. The video clip shows Chyna pretending to painfully push baby Dream into an elated Rob Kardashian's hands, while Jenner and Toni look on nervously.
Not even born at the time, and Dream Kardashian had already been part of a social media sensation --- she's definitely earned that last name! Blac Chyna gave birth to Dream on Thursday morning, and E! News shared the first photo of the newborn a few hours later. Dream is Blac Chyna's first child with her fiancé Rob Kardashian, and her second child in total. Chyna's four-year-old son King Cairo Stevenson's father is rapper Tyga, who is actually dating Rob Kardashian's half sister Kylie Jenner currently. Dream's birth came about a month after the season finale of Kardashian and Chyna's reality series Rob & Chyna, which chronicled the couple's final few months of Chyna's pregnancy.
As with most popular mannequin challenge videos, Blac Chyna's features the song "Black Beatles" by the hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd. The viral trend is believed to have begun towards the end of October by a group of high school students in Florida, and has since blown up to become a massive social media craze, on the scale of the Harlem Shake and planking of years past. The phenomenon grew to a level where professional sports teams, celebrities, and even Hillary Clinton took part in making their own versions. It even had the power to reunite Destiny's Child!
But still, nobody but Blac Chyna made a mannequin challenge video while giving birth. Now that's a commitment to social media that truly earns her her Kardashian card!
