Justin Bieber may be flexing his muscles, but he's not trying to impress the ladies. The superstar is now saying that he is going to remain single for the time being, which is a whole new mindset for the playboy singer.
Justin Bieber crushed the hearts of his female fans on The Ellen DeGeneres show on Monday, telling the host that he's currently not dating anybody and he is going to try to keep it that way. The Biebs delivered his response bluntly after DeGeneres asked about his love life.
Instead of romance, Justin Bieber is instead focusing on his massive world tour, which he's been on almost all year and will continue through the end of 2017 in promotion of his latest release Purpose. Though Bieber did admit that the no-relationship rule may be a bit hard on him given that his constant touring leaves him feeling incredibly lonely, but he says that at least he has his adorable pup Esther with him to cuddle up with.
And no, Justin Bieber isn't turning to technology for an upgrade in his love life either. The singer admitted that he's not on Tinder and has actually never used any dating apps or sites in his life.
This decision comes after a string of short relationships for Justin Bieber throughout 2016, including being linked to Hailey Baldwin, Sofia Richie, Nicola Peltz, and most recently a model named Sahara Ray. The romantic hiatus may be Bieber's latest attempt to help clean up his public image, as his past relationship exploits have been mostly bad PR. After breaking up with longtime girlfriend Selena Gomez in the mid 2010s, the starlet released a forlorn ballad decrying the relationship "The Heart Wants What It Wants," and directed a cover of Justin Timberlake's kiss-off track "Cry Me A River" at her ex. Bieber also faced other bad press related to his love life.
So, maybe it's a good idea for the Biebs to cool it in the romance department a little bit for the time being. I mean, he's probably dated enough models and celebrities than most probably have by the age of 22.
