Miley Cyrus Says She Had A Premonition Of Losing Her Home
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were among the many people who lost their homes due to the devastating California wildfires. It remains a difficult time for the couple, but the pop singer claimed she is grateful that she didn't lose any animals during the destruction. Miley Cyrus also thanked the firefighters and the LA Sheriff's department for their efforts to help her and everyone around them during this widespread catastrophe. She is currently focusing on rebuilding, both in terms of her living arrangements and picking up her life, but Cyrus claims she had a "premonition" before it happened.
Miley Cyrus' premonition was revealed during a recent appearance on On Air with Ryan Seacrest (via E! News). During the conversation, Cyrus talked about her new single with Mark Ronson, "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart," which has a few lyrics that reference a "burning house" and nothing being left. Some fans might assume that Cyrus put those lyrics into the song recently, but she claims those foreboding lines were actually written months earlier.
It's an unusual and deeply unfortunate coincidence, or perhaps it was a dark warning from Cyrus' subconscious? Maybe it was a grave apprehension of what was sadly set to come in the popular musician's near future? It's impossible to know, but Miley Cyrus is currently focused on rebuilding her own life and her community after this tragedy.
After the fires occurred, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth donated $500,000 to The Malibu Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to supporting members of the community as they work hard to rebuild their lives after the wildfires devastated many.
Later in her interview, Miley Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest that she's in a "really good healing place" at the moment. The "Wrecking Ball" singer-songwriter claims she is benefitted enormously by the support and love found from her family members and the generous people surrounding her.
I'm glad Miley Cyrus is looking forward and hoping to rebuild for the sake of herself and the people struggling around her right now. Meanwhile, Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus are slated to appear on Saturday Night Live on December 15th. They'll be the musical guests alongside host Matt Damon, with the new single no doubt no the schedule.
