Amanda Seyfried has been in a lot of cool movies and worn a lot of cool costumes, including both modern and period designs. However, there’s nothing like being the face of a brand, and Seyfried wasn’t shy about saying yes when Givenchy offered her the chance to head up the company’s famed Very Irresistible Givenchy fragrance line, taking over for Lord of the Rings actress Liv Tyler.

When Seyfried was given the offer from Givenchy, she gave the company a very blunt answer in response, saying, “F--k yeah.” Just a short time later, the actress still can’t contain her enthusiasm concerning the new role, telling WWD magazine that she likes the vibe Givenchy gives off, as well as the opportunity signing on for Very Irresistible Givenchy has presented.
” It’s an honest collaboration. I’m proud to be a part of it because what they do is really cool, especially Givenchy — they’re so artistic. And I feel like I have a foot in the fashion industry now.”

If you’re hoping to take a look at the ads featuring the young actress, they should be appearing fairly soon. Seyfried says the company has just finished shooting her ad campaign. While she loves all of the work with Givenchy, it doesn’t sound like she’ll be quitting her day job any time soon, although I wouldn’t be surprised if this advertising campaign led to another.

Seyfried is, by no means, the first celebrity to become the face of a big name brand. In recent memory, Mila Kunis has taken on a large role with the company Dior to be the face of Dior Handbags. And who can forget the brand new Chanel commercial Brad Pitt debuted just a few months ago that was later even mocked by SNL in an episode of the late night sketch comedy program. Usually, it’s alright for women’s product ads to be a little overdramatic and hopefully Seyfried’s new campaign won’t earn the same criticism from the press.
