Watch This Robot Street Performer Punch A Bully In The Face

Sometimes the line between being a bully and giving someone a hard time in good fun can be a little bit murky, but regardless of where one places the line, the douche bag in the above video crossed way over to the wrong side of it. He wasn’t trying to have a good time, he was genuinely trying to embarrass the street performer, which is why the Internet has responded with almost universal positivity to the clip that was posted to YouTube earlier this week.

The footage in question was shot on a boardwalk in Australia. The identities of the street performer and his bully haven’t yet been made public. In the United States, punching someone, whether provoked or not, would almost certainly result in a lawsuit as damn near everything else does, but in Australia, people tend to be a little less litigious, which means the unidentified bully may simply take his lumps and walk away, which is what he deserves anyway.

Street performers and the homeless have long been considered among the more vulnerable classes in the world because many people see them as something less than human. That’s probably why only one person in the tape stands up to the bully and tells him to knock it off. Hopefully, this video will help to humanize street performers a bit and show they’re both worthy or our respect and capable of possessing impressive right hooks.
