Warning! The following contains spoilers from the Big Brother Season 28 live feeds as of Friday, August 21. Stream the feeds with a Paramount+ subscription, and read at your own risk!

Yash's Head of Household week ended in disaster for him when Rick Devens won the Diamond Power of Veto and sent Kamu Kirk packing. With his exit, the Icons got another big win and seemingly quelled any mistrust in the newly formed Mosh Pit alliance for now. The cards were stacked in their favor to secure another HOH this week and really take control of the game.

Well, that happened, and the winner might have the worst case of HOH-itis we've seen in Season 28 based on my watching Big Brother online last night. This is going to be a tough week to watch if you're someone rooting for the underdogs, because it seems the Mosh Pit is already making plans to make this week as hard as possible.

Dee Won The Week 7 HOH

Dee Valladares wasn't able to secure her safety with a comp win last week, but she came through with the HOH win this week. Based on the chatter on the live feeds, it sounds like this week was a balance beam competition, which she's said before she thrived at. She's in control of the house, and while the Mosh Pit is happy with that, there are understandably a few who aren't. She's aware of that, and based on her current plans, it sounds like they're in for a bad week.

Dee Is Already Showing She May Have The Worst HOH-itis This Game Has Seen

Dee's HOH week has already started with Yash, Taylor Brown, and Lala Verrett being chosen as the Have-Nots. They're also Dee's choice for the nomination block at the moment, which already makes for a bad week in Big Brother.

Unfortunately, Dee isn't stopping there. She also discussed plans that she's going to tell nominees she won't be holding meetings, but then proceed to still meet with her alliance. One downside of Dee's game, I feel, is she likes the manipulation and lies a bit too much, and I think she's already forgotten there's a chance she won't be in power come next week.

People who want to win Big Brother understand being diplomatic and trying to keep the door open whenever possible. Making your targets Have-Nots is good gameplay. However, intentionally isolating them and being unwilling to have conversations with them is a bit over the top, especially when your alliance outnumbers them by double the margin. It's the kind of behavior that rubs the house the wrong way, and may cost her some jury votes in the long run.

So, when this week ends, and Dee potentially finds herself in danger yet again, it's going to be hard to feel bad for her this time around. Sure, turnabout is fair play, and this is her chance to get vengeance on the people who targeted her last week. But again, this was just them targeting a strong competitor. What she's plotting is something else entirely, and I wouldn't be surprised if even some Survivor fans call her out for her actions this week.

I'm crossing my fingers that Dee's HOH reign isn't as bad as I think it might be, but we'll just have to wait and see. Big Brother continues on CBS on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. ET, so be sure to tune in and see how this week pans out!
