Could Arrow Bring Colton Haynes Back For Season 6?

With Team Arrow going through a bit of a rough patch in Season 6, Oliver's going to need all the help he can get in order to beat the rap and continue keeping Star City safe. While there are a handful of super-friends Oliver could call on to help him out, Stephen Amell is possibly hinting that Arrow might be bringing an old ally back to the show. Amell uploaded the following photo, which has many asking the question of whether or not former star Colton Haynes could be returning to the series:

Either Stephen Amell is spending his spare time feeling nostalgic by binging through old Arrow episodes, or he's dropping a major clue that Colton Haynes might be returning to the show. This isn't the first time something like this has been teased, as well before Amell took to Facebook Haynes himself teased on Twitter that Roy Harper would be returning to the Arrow-verse very soon. Additionally, Oliver recently mentioned the character in "Thanksgiving," which is always a good sign someone's making a comeback. Take all of that, and the fact that Arrow plotlines aren't being kept under lock and key so much -- see: actor Rick Gonzalez basically laying out Wild Dog's betrayal ahead of the midseason finale -- and it seems like Roy will probably be back on Arrow at some point in 2018.

If Roy does return to Arrow in Season 6, this will be the first time he's been around since his one-off appearance in Season 4, which followed a regular stint in the early years. With Thea out of her coma and Oliver playing double duty as both mayor and Green Arrow while Diggle is out of commission, Roy would be the perfect candidate to ease some of Oliver's burdens, especially while the F.B.I. continues to close in on him. With Roy back at his side, Oliver might finally catch a break after what has been a difficult few episodes for Team Arrow.

Of course, that's all provided Roy shows up in Star City of his own free will, since that wasn't the case the last time we saw him on Arrow. Roy had been blackmailed by The Calculator to do his bidding, and while we'd like to think he's wised up since then, we don't really know what he's been up to in Hub City! Hopefully, Roy's just there to care for Thea and lend a helping hand, because Oliver can't afford to put out another fire.
