Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s costume designer uses the word “streamlined” in her Instagram captions to describe the alterations. That is a totally appropriate description of the difference fans will notice between Season 5 and Season 6’s version of Quake’s suit.
Season 6 is set to be a significant one for the character, too. Chloe Bennet recently revealed how Quake would be dealing with Coulson’s absence, though there will be some form of Coulson for her to deal with. There is a considerable amount of mystery surrounding his presence or lack thereof, with the trailer offering some unexpected answers, sort of.
It turns out that Clark Gregg, who plays Agent Coulson, will be playing a different character in Season 6. Quake will probably have some feelings about that, so thank goodness she has another season to sift through them. Despite the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast thinking the show was over with Season 5, it landed renewals for not one, but two more seasons. (Don't count on it lasting much longer, though.)
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 will premiere this summer on ABC. There is currently no exact release date, so stay tuned, as the team should be back before you know it.
