Fans have known that Quake would be donning a new costume in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6, thanks to actress Chloe Bennet showing off her character’s fresh look in November. Now, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s costume designer Whitney Galitz has given fans a much closer peek at what's coming. Check out one up-close look at Quake’s new costume below:

Talk about an up-close and personal shot! If you are wondering what exactly changed within regards to Quake’s costume, Whitney Galitz gave fans some insight. In her Instagram post, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s costume designer explains that Quake’s utility belt has been “slimmed down,” while they sized up some of the panels of printed fabric. Personally speaking, I think it looks fantastic!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s costume designer did not stop there with the sneak peeks, also giving fans a closer look at the arm of the costume. Again, everyone will want to pay attention to her caption, where Whitney Galitz offers excellent insight into the changes that were made, and why they came about. Check out the picture below:

According to what Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s costume designer is saying, the goal seemed to be to bring an all-around update to Quake’s costume, as opposed to rebooting the whole shebang. The result is a new, yet familiar, look for the character.

Since we're working from top to bottom with Quake's new duds, it is time to take a look at the final glimpse that Whitney Galitz gave of Quake’s costume. Check out her lower leg apparel!

Is it just me, or do there seem to be more accents here? I like it. Plus, it follows suit (wink) with the rest of Quake’s updated look, which also features purple accents for its major color change.

In case anyone missed it, here is a look at the costume that was posted by Chloe Bennet, in which she is rocking some purple highlights in her hair to go along with the suit.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s costume designer uses the word “streamlined” in her Instagram captions to describe the alterations. That is a totally appropriate description of the difference fans will notice between Season 5 and Season 6’s version of Quake’s suit.

Season 6 is set to be a significant one for the character, too. Chloe Bennet recently revealed how Quake would be dealing with Coulson’s absence, though there will be some form of Coulson for her to deal with. There is a considerable amount of mystery surrounding his presence or lack thereof, with the trailer offering some unexpected answers, sort of.

It turns out that Clark Gregg, who plays Agent Coulson, will be playing a different character in Season 6. Quake will probably have some feelings about that, so thank goodness she has another season to sift through them. Despite the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast thinking the show was over with Season 5, it landed renewals for not one, but two more seasons. (Don't count on it lasting much longer, though.)

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 will premiere this summer on ABC. There is currently no exact release date, so stay tuned, as the team should be back before you know it.
