Buckle Up Mandalorian Fans, New Baby Yoda Toy Talks And Even Uses The Force

Baby Yoda using The Force in The Mandalorian

Disney+ premiered a few months ago, and while moviegoers were happy to see so many classic movies available, the streaming service's biggest victory came in the smallest of places. The Mandalorian helped to expand the galaxy far, far away and instantly broke the internet with the introduction of The Child aka Baby Yoda. The little green guy has been made into endless memes, and fans ahve been eager to get their hands on some official merchandise. Luckily here's a new Baby Yoda doll coming, and it can move, talk, and even use The Force.

The Child is a pop culture sensation, which helped The Mandalorian loyal viewership that guaranteed a second season on Disney+. There wasn't any official Baby Yoda merch in time for this holiday season, but the rollout of toys, funko pops, and the like have begun. But Habsro has made an animatronic doll that looks absolutely epic. It was revealed this morning on Good Morning America, check it out below.

Do you hear that sound? It's countless Star Wars fans rejoicing at the idea of having their very own Baby Yoda. This one can move on its own, allowing every purchaser to feel like Mando himself. How can you not want to buy your own version of that cute little guy?

The above video comes to us from Good Morning America, as host Michael Strahan revealed the design and look of the Habro's upcoming The Child figure. And the reveal certainly didn't disappoint, as the toy's various abilities were highlighted during the brief clip. You can watch The Asset wiggle his big green ears, and make some of the adorable cooing noises that stole hearts throughout The Mandalorian's first season. Smart money says he comes with his own little ball, right from Mando's ship.

But perhaps the most exciting movement shown by Baby Yoda on GMA is his ability to use The Force. Despite being such a young, nonverbal alien, The Child has shown a great connection to The Force. He saves Mando's life in the second episode of The Mandalorian, and debuted the ability to Force Heal someone before it appeared on the big screen in The Rise of Skywalker. The Child is shown closing his eyes and sticking out his little hand, which is how he usually taps into The Force.

With all the new Mandalorian merchandise hitting shelves, fans of the first live-action Star Wars series should be able to gear up before Season 2 begins on Disney+. The story could seemingly go anywhere in its sophomore story, as Mando and The Child have officially become their own family unit. But there are plenty of forces out there who would still like to get their hands on The Asset, so there's sure to be plenty of adventures and action when The Mandalorian returns with new episodes.

I'm eager to see how much of a phenomenon Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi series ends up being. There's obviously no cuteness in the form of Baby Yoda, but maybe we'll get more Jawa screen time. The series was recently pushed back, but anticipation for McGregor's return to the franchise has been steadily building since it was first announced.

The Mandalorian is currently streaming on Disney+. Be sure to check out our midseason premiere list to plan your next binge watch.
