Catch The Luck Of The Irish On TV This St. Patrick's Day

If you’re like me then you celebrated St. Paddy’s day this weekend. However, the actual holiday doesn’t take place until Tuesday (March 17th). We found a few movies and specials in the listings set to air on Tuesday for those of you looking to celebrate the holiday in front of your television sets.

Start the day off with the special Today episode that features Meredith Vieira and Al Roker broadcasting from Ireland. If you’re looking for something a little scarier, why not try the Leprechaun marathon airing on Sci Fi channel. And for fine St. Patrick’s Day fun for the whole family, there’s Rudy, The Quiet Man and the Disney Channel’s The Luck of the Irish. Listing details below:

Today airs at 7:00 AM on NBC - Meredith and Al are celebrating St. Patrick’s day from Ireland’s Dublin Castle.

Leprechaun marathon – begins airing on Sci Fi at 3:00 PM - Series of scary movies about a pissed off Leprechaun (played by Warwick Davis).

Rudy - Airs at 5:30 PM ET on AMC – Based on the story of Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger, this great underdog tale follows Rudy, a kid who dreams of playing football for Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish. Rudy. Rudy. Rudy! RUDY!!!

The Quiet Man - Airs at 8:00 PM ET on TCM – This classic film earned John Ford an Academy Award for Directing. The story follows Irish-American Sean Thornton (John Wayne) as he returns to Ireland to reclaim his family’s farm and ends up falling in love with Mary Kate Danaher (Maureen O’Hara).

The Luck of the Irish - airs at 8:00 PM ET on The Disney Channel- A kid learns he’s part leprechaun after his loses his lucky charm and has to try to find it.
