Strange Sex Season 3 Preview: TLC Series Explores Adult Breastfeeding

Is there an angle of life that reality TV has not yet explored? It's hard to imagine, given how many docuseries that can be found on network and able television. And then I watched the preview for TLC's third season premiere of Strange Sex. The series explores the subject of "mysterious conditions, unusual fetishes and kinky science behind sexual attraction," which in the case of the Season 3 premiere, includes adult breast feeding.

I'm not here to pass judgment, though I will offer a warning that this video crosses into some bizarre territory, if you haven't already surmised by the above introduction. So consider that a warning before watching. Featured in the Season 3 premiere is a couple that enjoys "adult breastfeeding." Jeff discovered it's a sexual turn-on for him to drink his wife's breast milk straight from the source, and Michelle doesn't seem to mind.

In addition to Jeff and Michelle's breastfeeding fetish, the Season 3 premiere will also feature a woman who undergoes a "hymenoplasty," a surgical operation to reconstruct the hymen in order to recreate the look and feel of virginity.

These are subjects that I'd say fall into the TMI category, though I'm fascinated by people's willingness to go on national television and share their experiences so openly. But I figure sex has to be one of the most universally interesting topics in human existence, so I'm sure there's an audience for this. In fact, the series' second season premiere averaged 1.1 million P2+ viewers.

Strange Sex Season 3 premieres with back-to-back episodes on Sunday, July 15 at 10:00 p.m.

Assistant Managing Editor

Kelly put her life-long love of movies, TV and books to greater use when she joined CinemaBlend as a freelance TV news writer in 2006, and went on to serve as the site’s TV Editor before joining the staff full-time in 2011 and moving over to other roles at the site. At present, she’s an Assistant Managing Editor who spends much of her time brainstorming and editing features, analyzing site data, working with writers and editors on content planning and the workflow, and (of course) continuing to obsess over the best movies and TV shows (those that already exist, and the many on the way). She graduated from SUNY Cortland with BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Cinema Studies. When she isn't working, she's probably thinking about work, or reading (or listening to a book), and making sure her cats are living their absolute best feline lives.
