The Megan Fox Movie Even Megan Fox Hates

Megan Fox’s resume is littered with films that have been critically mauled. But it turns out that there is one film in particular that Megan Fox is rather embarrassed by. And you won’t be surprised to learn that it’s Jonah Hex, which wasn’t just showered with negative reviews but was also a financial flop, too.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, via Celebrity TV, Megan Fox explained that Teenage Mutant Turtles: Out Of The Shadows has actually been re-written and adjusted for a more family friendly audience so that 6-years-old can enjoy it. This then led her to insist that she won’t be allowing her two children to watch some of her films until they’re older, while some of them shouldn’t be watched by anyone, ever.

It would be nice to make some things that they can see, yeah, because something like Jennifer's Body I'm not going to let them see for a long time. Something like Jonah Hex I'm not going to let them see ever, no one should ever see that movie.

Released back in 2010, Jonah Hex was Warner Bros.’ attempt at adapting the DC Comic of the same name. It currently has the measly score of just 12% on Rotten Tomatoes, while it grossed the pitiful sum of just $10.9 million from a $47 million budget.

But despite rightfully being regarded as a bona-fide flop, when you take a look at who was involved in Jonah Hex it’s rather puzzling that something of more quality wasn’t produced. That's because its all-star cast wasn't just led by the always magnificent Josh Brolin, but was rounded off by John Malkovich, Michael Fassbender, Will Arnett, and Michael Shannon, as well as Megan Fox.

Megan Fox isn't the only cast member from Jonah Hex to have dismissed it. Earlier this year Josh Brolin insisted that Jonah Hex would have been better if it had been shot with a smaller budget, before lambasting the fact that they had to reshoot 66 pages in just 12 days.

Jonah Hex’s abject failure doesn’t really provide much confidence for the upcoming expansion of the DC Cinematic Universe following the release of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. As you are probably aware, the superhero hybrid was met with rather mixed reviews. But unlike Jonah Hex it has so far grossed over $489 million.
