Set Photos Show Off The Zombies Of World War Z
We've seen set photos for World War Z floating around, but none of it has ever really been compelling. Mostly shots of Brad Pitt walking around and set details, the photos have been rather dull and while they show off the world of the film, they've never shown off the nitty-gritty, and by that I mean the zombies. Now, you might be saying. "All zombies look alike," and that's kind of true, but a good film will put their own touch on undead design. Now the first images of World War Z's walking dead have arrived online, and they do look different: mostly because they're not humans in makeup and look like they've been left out in the sun for 48 hours.
Posted over at AICN, the images were taken in Glasgow, Scotland, which is standing in for Philadelphia. The photos were taken by one of the site's readers and in addition to the rows of hanging zombies they also took shots of some armored vehicles and a SWAT van. Because the movie will be set on two timelines - one during the war, one after - one can assume that these are the zombies that remain in the cities after the war has ended and the hordes have been put down. Check out some of the images below and head over to AICN for the rest.
