BREAKING MOVIE NEWS
Dolph Lundgren has been spilling the beans about his involvement in the Coen Brothers' Hail Caesar, and his description of Channing Tatum's character is simply hilarious.
Joel and Ethan Coen are in the process of putting together one of the best actor ensembles they've ever worked with for their upcoming film - and that's saying a lot given their history. George Clooney, Josh Brolin, Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes have all been named as being attached to the film, and now two more incredibly talented stars.
This seems like a fantastic assemblage of talents, especially giving the Coens a few familiar faces, and some exciting new players (like Tatum and Fiennes) who are proving capable of comedy in movies by the likes of Wes Anderson, Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
The Coen brothers remain on an incredible role, and while they have leaned toward drama the past few times out, it sounds like Hail Caesar will be closer in tone to Burn After Reading, a slap-sticky farce that bites the hand that feeds the filmmaking duo.
The script focuses on Eddie Mannix, a mover-and-shaker in the 1950's tasked with protecting the seedier and more questionable aspects of the lives of certain movie stars. This was a regular occurrence in the movie world in the 1950's, where some of the bigger stars of the era had plenty of dirty laundry that had to be taken out.
