Cruel Intentions was a cheeky, soap-opera-inspired adaptation of Dangerous Liaisons, only aimed at the MTV generation of the time. It since has adopted a sweet sort of cult-classic tone about it, but itís perfectly bitchy and witchy in the best ways possible. The story deserves its own musical, and Iím thrilled the ladies of Cruel Intentions enjoyed the adaptation as much as they did.
The secret ingredient to the original I Know What You Did Last Summer, though, was screenwriter Kevin Williamson, who had penned the self-referential horror comedy Scream for Wes Craven the year before, and brought a lot of the same genre knowledge and winking humor that helped Summer separate itself from the pack.
Seven seasons and a movie? Technically, Buffy the Vampire Slayer's already had that, only the movie came first. But what are the odds that the series will see a follow-up film, much in the way Joss Whedon's Firefly did with Serenity? Given the recent Kickstarter success for the Veronica Mars movie, fans of other beloved TV shows have been hopeful that their favorite gone-but-not-forgotten TV dramas will be revived on the big screen.

Bloody Disgusting breaks the news that Ghost House Pictures and Mandate are developing yet another remake of the long-running franchise, which has existed (and succeeded) in various formats over the years
We havenít heard anything about the impending Buffy the Vampire Slayer remake in awhile, but somewhere out there
