How will these children react to eating coffee? The answer is fairly obvious if you were one of those curious kids back in the day who asked an adult to give you some to feel more grown up. While I drink coffee now (with a lot of sugar) I can still remember the first time I had coffee and thought it was absolutely disgusting.
A number of homeless men in Las Vegas, Nevada, were given a dose of magic and a bit of help thanks to a great magician. As the video shows, magician Rob Anderson has the homeless of ďthe city that never sleepsĒ tells the unsuspecting heís been giving food out all day and shows an empty bag. The look of confusion and apprehension is disheartening, as if these people are used to cruel jokes in addition to their living conditions.
It's no secret that I'm a cat person. Cats are pretty much hands off unless its cuddle time and find ways to play on their own with everything from paper to their actual toys. However, when I see a dog that is learning from a cat's independent ways, it makes me reconsider getting a puppy
As a kid, my dad took me to air shows all the time. Nothing was quite as exciting as seeing pilots do awesome barrel rolls and high flying tricks. In fact, it lead me to want to pursue a career in the Air Force that never actually quite happened. It's a long story. But when I saw this kick ass video of a pilot doing incredible moves in a helicopter, my love for aerial acrobatics was reignited.
Look, I'm no athlete, but I think I'm a pretty good throw and understand the basics of a straight line. If my days in little league softball taught me anything, it's how to chuck something in the right direction. If I were throwing, say, a grenade, I think I would do everything to make sure the guys on my side didn't get caught in an explosion and blown to smithereens. Unfortunately for one Brazilian military policewoman, she could not accomplish this simple task.
Who woulda thunk watching a hamster chowing down on carrots could be so entertaining? In this video we relearn what we first learned back in grade school, hamsters can hold an insane amount of food in their cheeks. Well, not really an insane amount, I can get four carrots in my mouth, but for a hamster thatís huge.
If you were a little kid in the 1990s, nothing sticks with you quite like the music. Well, except for maybe the awesome snacks that are now all but extinct. At any rate, I remember jamming to cassette tapes and eventually that new-fangled device called a CD to some of my favorite tunes. This awesome YouTube clip smashes so many childhood memories into six minutes, I think I might cry from pure joy.
It may have been his crowning achievement but Darwinís most beloved work was not his theory of Evolution. Darwin cited in life that one of his favorite studies he conducted was his work done on carnivorous plants. He loved the fact that a plant had evolved to eat something in response to itís environment, a phenomena called convergent evolution.
Itís time now for you to see what a set of $5 million pistols looks like. Crafted in the 19th century, and molded with gold and other expensive gems, the pistols indicate their owner was no doubt wealthy with a slight flair for dramatics. He sits in the bar, pistols at the ready, waiting for some ruffian to start a squabble. He finds his moment, stands up and flourishes his pistols.
You know how most of us laugh at throwback propaganda posters and wonder how our ancestors could have possibly been won over by images that were such blatant hard sells of patriotism? That collective American cynicism has altered the way the federal government tries to change public opinion, but in certain other countries, right on the nose is still the preferred method.
When you answer a phone, do you say ďIt is I,Ē or do you say ďItís me,Ē? Technically, you should say the first in formal settings, but then you may come off as pompous and potentially sound rude. Then again saying the second option may make you sound like some ill-educated buffoon in informal settings.
There was once a time where I believed that everyone celebrated birthdays the same way. That time was seven minutes and thirty seconds ago and now that Iíve watched Mental Flossí video on birthdays, I want to plan the ultimate super birthday.
I hate when Iím going about a normal day and a Youtube video warps my worldview temporarily. Where is this video? Where is the original copy for this video? Are you an original human being, or merely a copy of those before you?
If you have a fear of flying it would be a terrible idea to watch this video. Then again, if you read that sentence and don't watch, you may live your life in fear not knowing exactly what you should be afraid of. Do you want to live your life in fear, or do you want to see what a crosswind can do to a plane landing? Itís sort of awesome, and at the same time equally terrifying.
You may have seen an intensely bizarre Gif image making the rounds that shows Emma Watson talking and then eventually peeling away her face (and chest) to reveal herself to be Sofia Vergara in disguise. But where did this image originate? It looks like we now have our answer, as some videos offer a bit of explanation.
