Keeping Up With The Kardashians Will Address Lamar's Alleged Cheating
Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband Lamar Odom back in December of 2013. The clan’s reality series is several months behind real time, and it looks as if Keeping Up with The Kardashians will be delving into the former X Factor host’s frame of mind during the tumultuous end of her marriage. In this week’s episode, Khloe throws a house party, feels betrayed by her mother, and gets so drunk that even Scott Disick thinks she is probably partying too much.
In the clip below, it seems like Khloe needs to get her troubled marriage off of her mind, throwing a welcome home party for her younger sister, but of course, it’s less the homecoming and more the party aspect that gets the focus. That shouldn’t surprise anyone, though. Keeping Up With The Kardashians always has its pulse on what type of drama fans will want to see, and for months, everyone has been wondering how the show will handle Khloe in the aftermath of her failed marriage. We won’t know completely until the actual episode airs, but based on this preview, it’s pretty clear the matter will be tackled head on.
For a long time, Khloe Kardashian managed to be the sibling living free of drama. She was happily married to NBA big man Lamar Odom, and despite the couples’ fertility problems, everything seemed peachy keen. She was running a thriving business and pushing her reality TV empire. He was winning NBA titles and accolades for his contributions. They had fame. They had money, and they seemed to have a genuinely healthy love for one another. However, in truth her life was far from happy. Rumors of rampant cheating and an alleged addiction to drugs led to months of drama. Khloe Kardashian eventually filing for divorce from her husband. His supposed downright spiral was front page news across the country, and a whole lot of media attention was focused on both Khloe and Lamar. Ordinarily, the family is OK with that, but when the attention is exclusively focused on something as troubling as drunk driving and drug addiction, it’s a lot less fun, especially when no one involved seems to be progressing in the right direction.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians airs on Sunday nights at 9 EST on E!. If you’re at all into the show, tonight’s episode will definitely be one worth catching, as the proverbial shit will be hitting the fan. Besides, let’s be honest, if you watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians, you do so for the drama, and it might be years before there’s this much real life drama again.
