Bungie seems to be on the verge of announcing something big, perhaps their next game. However, they won't be making the reveal at E3.
"Yup, truth told we have been less and less active on Bungie.net as of late," said Bungie's Eric Osborne in the Bungie Weekly Update. "Part of that is owed to my aforementioned travel arrangements, but a significant amount of my time is also now being dedicated to other upcoming endeavors that won’t make a splash on the front page until Bungie Day closes in around us. Unfortunately, that means there are just too many balls in the air for me to juggle without letting a few fall to the ground."
Bungie Day occurs on July 7th. On that day, Bungie tries to do something special, like hold a contest, release downloadable content, or make an announcement about upcoming projects.
Bungie's next game is based on a completely new IP. Activision will be acting as the publisher for the series, which will appear on multiple platforms.
