PSN Welcome Back Package Includes Free PS3, PSP Games

Sony's real sorry about that whole "unable to play all of your online games for a month" thing, guys. To compensate for the outage, they'll be giving PSP and PS3 owners alike free games.

The exact offerings vary from territory to territory. The rewards detailed here are for all existing PSN and Qriocity users in North America. They'll be available soon.

PSN users will be able to select two PS3 games from the below list. You'll have 30 days to download them from the PlayStation Store once restore. You'll be able to keep them forever:

  • Dead Nation
  • inFAMOUS
  • LittleBigPlanet

PSP owners, meanwhile, can pick two of the following games. These games will also be available to download for 30 days:

  • LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
  • ModNation Racers
  • Pursuit Force
  • Killzone Liberation

The free games are just part of the package, though. Sony's also giving out a bunch of freebies related to the other PSN features:
