Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later but EA is cashing in sooner rather than later. PopCap's Plants Vs Zombies is making an appearance in Sims 3 Supernatural as pre-order bonuses either from select retailers or EA's Origin.
The Sims 3 Supernatural expansion contains a lot of Halloween themed ghouls and ghosts, as well as zombies, new decor and new accessories, clothes and items for players to mess around with in the Sims 3.
The Plants Vs Zombies pre-order bonus DLC contains a lamp, a brain flag sculpture, bug-eyed Wall-nut sculpture, zombie gnomes and of course, the Plants Vs Zombies plant-peashooters to ward off zombie invaders.
If you actually want the special content pack you can pre-order the game from Origin or GameStop.
In order for Sims 3 Supernatural to work you'll need an original copy of Sims 3 for PC or Mac.
The absolutely ridiculous part about this whole thing is that essentially EA is charging extra for a limited edition expansion pack for an expansion pack. Is that what we've come to in gaming? You pay extra to get extra with an extra?
I imagine that Pretty soon there will be limited edition DLC packs where you get extra special DLC if you decide the normal DLC just doesn't contain enough DLC. I just can't get over the fact that an expansion pack of downloadable content contains additional downloadable content if you pre-order the downloadable content.
Regardless, you can pre-order Sims 3 Supernatural with the Plants Vs Zombies content pack decor and items from Origin by visiting the Official Website.
