Hilary Swank is going to need pilot lessons. Her next big role will be starring as Amelia Earhart, according to NY Post. The weird thing is, she actually looks exactly like her. Check out the pictures to your right. Freaky.
Amelia Earhart was a famous aviation pioneer and women’s rights activist in the thirties. She was the first woman to receive the Flying Cross after becoming the first woman every to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She went on to set many more records, which is great, but the truth is we probably all remember her for the mysterious disappearing act she pulled in 1937. While on a solo attempt to circumnavigate the globe, she vanished over the middle of the Pacific Ocean. No trace of her or her craft was ever found, and she was declared legally dead in 1939.
Swank’s movie will be a biopic, and probably not one with a happy ending.
