Iron Man Will Look Like This In Avengers 2: Age Of Ultron

Iron Man Top

Iron Man tends to get an upgrade with each new Marvel movie, so it’s no surprise that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will be sporting new armor in Joss Whedon’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. And while we got a sweet preview of Stark’s Hulkbuster armor in the Ultron trailer, we’re now also getting a sneak peek at the Mark XLIII armor, courtesy of a movie accurate toy tie-in.

Hot Toys dropped a number of images on its Facebook page, giving fans a chance to pre-order the 1/6th scale model of the collectible figure. On the armor, the company states:

The movie-accurate Mark XLIII Collectible Figure is highly detailed and specially crafted based on the image of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Mark XLIII in Avengers: Age of Ultron, featuring a newly painted Tony Stark helmeted head sculpt, metallic red, gold and silver armor with weathered effects, LED light-up functions, and a specially designed diorama base with a damaged Ultron Mark I. A special edition will be available for selected markets which includes a LED lighted battle damaged helmet as bonus accessory."

We caught a few images of Tony Stark in a new suit in the full Age of Ultron trailer:

But we have a few more outstanding images of this new suit, thanks to Hot Toys. You all will remember why Tony needs new suits, right? At the end of Iron Man 3, he initiated the Clean Slate Protocol, eliminating all of his existing Iron Man suits. But you knew that wasn’t going to last. Here it is, in a mediocre visual presentation:
