Thor's Jaimie Alexander Headed For David Marconi's Intersection

Those who have seen Thor may recognize Jaimie Alexander for her role as Thor’s home-realm pal Sif. Outside of that, a good portion of her work has existed on the small screen. Prior to Thor, she played a role on ABC Family’s Kyle XY, and since the film she’s appeared in episodes of Covert Affairs and Nurse Jackie. But it looks like we’re about to see more of her on the big screen soon enough. Not only is she set to play a role in the upcoming Jee-woon Kim film Last Stand, which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, but she’s managed to land the starring role in a David Marconi thriller Intersection.

Variety shared the news, stating that Alexander will play the female lead in the film, which stars Frank Grillo. The movie will follow a woman who, with the help of her lover, plots to kill her husband. Things go wrong when the other-man and her husband are involved in a car accident on some remote road. It definitely sounds like an interesting set-up for drama, and an equally intriguing part for Alexander.

Frank Grillo (The Grey, Warrior), is set to play the husband. It’ll be interesting to hear who grabs the role of the other man. That news should surface soon enough as Variety says the film is set to start production this month.
