Three More Hunger Games Stills Arrive Online

While I'm still trying to fully understand exactly what goes on in The Hunger Games (is it really just a PG-13 Battle Royale?) one thing I do get is the excitement expressed after the first image of Peeta and Gale arrived online yesterday. Much in the same way that I am (usually) elated to see how a superhero's costume will appear on the big screen, fans of the books are dying to get a glimpse at what the world of The Hunger Games looks like outside of their own minds-eye or on the page. Now EW has helped in that process a little bit more.

Following the launch of their magazine cover, the site has posted three new stills from the movie, which feature stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. Based on the series of books by Suzanne Collins and directed by Gary Ross, the film is about a young girl named Katniss Everdeen who lives in a post-apocalyptic dystopia where children are selected by the government to fight to the death.

Check out the images below and head over to EW to see them full-size.
