There was a brief time in the 90s when the name Betty Thomas was a pretty big deal. Her prominence peaked with the underrated Howard Stern starring movie Private Parts, and since then it's been kind of downhill.
But Betty's a talented director, and she'll get a chance to climb back into the limelight this summer with her new movie John Tucker Must Die, a teen movie with vicious intentions.
