Watch A Tease For The Wonder Woman Trailer Right Now

Three movies in, and the DCEU continues to press forward into the future. However, the next film on the DC slate will take the entire Extended Universe back in time to show the origins of Diana Prince a.k.a Wonder Woman. With the release of Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman coming next summer, many have begun to wonder (get it?) when we will see new footage from the female-driven superhero blockbuster. Now it seems that we won't have to wait too much longer, as a new trailer will apparently drop Thursday. Check out the teaser below.

As you can clearly glean from that short but sweet teaser, a brand new trailer for Wonder Woman is slated to drop tomorrow. Given its relatively short length, the tease doesn't provide us with too much imagery that we haven't already seen. That being said, it definitely plays to Wonder Woman's current strengths: badass female-driven action, a menacing WWI environment, and the booming Wonder Woman theme song that premiered during the events of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Bring on the trailer already, DC!

The promise of brand new footage means that plenty of our pressing questions about the DC heroine's solo movie may finally receive more clarity. Hope remains alive and well that this new trailer will us much more insight into certain elements from the Wonder Woman mythos that have thus far remained unexplored. From more focus on the villain of the story (is it Ares?), to a deeper look at life in Themyscira, we're dying to get a much more thorough focus on the mystical side of the DCEU. After all, Suicide Squad introduced magic; now it's time to embrace it.

Of course, if you're anything like me, then the wait until tomorrow probably feels incredibly agonizing right now. To ease your suffering, check out the first official Wonder Woman trailer that debuted at San Diego Comic-Con:

Arguably the most fascinating aspect of Wonder Woman is the way in which it will take a different approach to a character that has already debuted in the DCEU. Gal Gadot gave fans a very hardened, battle-ready version of Diana Prince in Dawn of Justice, but Wonder Woman will go in the opposite direction to showcase her more wide-eyed, innocent origins. The things she witnesses in WWI will fundamentally change her as a person, and that's a journey we're genuinely excited to embark on.

We will bring you all of the latest and greatest Wonder Woman news as more information becomes available to us. Be sure to keep an eye our for the brand new Wonder Woman trailer when it drops tomorrow. Diana Prince's solo movie will finally hit theaters next summer on June 2, 2017. Stay tuned for more details!
