Watch Jake Gyllenhaal And Ryan Reynolds Lose It, Get Hilariously Weird During A Life Interview

Whether it's Brad Pitt and George Clooney, or Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake, celebrity bromances never fail to bring smiles to our faces. Now we have a new one to add to the file, as Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal apparently can't get enough of each other. The two recently did the press rounds in order to promote the upcoming release of their new film Life, and several of their interviews completely went off the rails in hilarious fashion. Check out the video below to see the absurdity for yourself.

Once Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds start cracking jokes in that video, they never actually recover. The whole thing is a rapid-fire onslaught of double entendres, furious fits of laughter and Deadpool toy-throwing. Despite the fact that the interviewer likely entered that room with a wide array of questions, he probably didn't expect these two Hollywood A-listers to delightfully goof off like a couple of sugared up elementary school kids. Reynolds and Gyllenhaal have undoubtedly become close over the course of their time working together on Life, and this interview solidifies the notion that they should work together on something a bit more lighthearted in the near future. Gyllenhaal as Cable in Deadpool 2? No definitive casting announcements have been made yet, but he's as good a choice as any to star alongside Reynolds in the highly anticipated sequel. I honestly wonder if Hugh Jackman is jealous of their chemistry now.

As you have probably already guessed, the antics weren't limited to one interview during the Life press junket. Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal kept the energy going through yet another interview, thus dashing any and all hopes of a serious and stern work day.

I'm not going to lie, I could watch Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal debate over the fine line between The Muppets, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock all day long. At least they were kind enough to thematically tie the discussion back into the concept of alien life by the time their interview came to an end. It was the least they could do after barely answering any questions.

Let's enjoy the smiles and laughter while we still can because Life already looks like a terrifying space-based adventure into extraterrestrial despair. The sci-fi horror film will debut in theaters this weekend on March 24.
