Tom Sizemore Was Once Accused Of Inappropriately Touching An 11-Year-Old Girl On A Movie Set

Tom Sizemore in Saving Private Ryan

Amidst the torrent of sexual misconduct charges that are currently flying all over Hollywood, a story is coming out regarding an alleged incident that took place several years ago with actor Tom Sizemore and an underage girl. The incident reportedly took place on a film set in 2003 where Sizemore was filming stills with an 11-year-old girl. Sizemore was apparently sent home following the reporting of the incident on set, though formal charges were never filed against the actor.

The film in question was released in 2005 under the title Born Killers, though it's also known as Piggy Banks. The movie saw Tom Sizemore play the father of a pair brothers on a crime spree. As part of production, Sizemore was involved in some still photography with a holiday theme for images that were to be used in the film. The pictures required the young girl to sit on the actor's lap. It was here where the inappropriate touching reportedly took place. The woman in question, now 26-years-old, is not having her name released, though she did confirm to The Hollywood Reporter that she's currently considering legal action against the actor as well as her parents. Tom Sizemore's representative declined to comment.

When the young girl informed people about what had happened, Tom Sizemore was confronted by members of the film crew and while he denied having done anything, he was sent home from the shoot as a precaution. The parents of the girl were encouraged by the producers to call in law enforcement if they felt it necessary, and while the parents did apparently speak to police, they decided not to press charges.

Eventually, with the producers of Born Killers, having a financial responsibility to complete production, and with inconclusive evidence of any wrongdoing on the part of Tom Sizemore, brought the actor back to film a few pick up shots in order to complete the film.

Since the series of accusations that were recently levied at Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, we've seen both women, and some men, come out with their own personal stories of being victims of various levels of sexual misconduct, from harassment to assault. We'll let you know if any future stories break.

While Tom Sizemore has certainly had his share of legal issues in recent years, this is the first time he's been accused of a crime of this nature. The allegations are certainly serious, and if the woman in question does move forward legally, this may not be the last we hear of it.
