Subscribe To Netflix New Releases: Movies And TV Shows Coming To Netflix Streaming In October 2019 Updates
Bring on the scary Halloween content! What good is a streaming service if they can’t inundate us with horror content during the month of October? We’re all very busy planning our terrifying binge marathons, and we need companies like Netflix to keep us up late at night, wondering what’s crawling under our couches or waiting for us in our bedroom closets.
Don’t care for Halloween scares? All good, boo. Netflix also has plenty of alternate options coming your way in October, including a glut of classic Will Smith movies, new seasons of their popular original television programs, and the return of Breaking Bad. Sort of. Here’s what’s coming to Netflix in October.
Week of October 4
93 days – 10/01/19
Week of October 11
Legend Quest: Masters of Myth -- NETFLIX FAMILY -- 10/05/19
Week of October 18
Banlieusards -- NETFLIX FILM – 10/12/19
Week of October 25
Men in Black – 10/19/19
Week of October 31
A 3 Minute Hug -- NETFLIX ORIGINAL – 10/28/19
The shift continues at Netflix away from archival programming to the service’s original works, something that has been happening over the years but now seems to be in full swing. While it’s fun to be able to catch old titles like Scream 2 or the Bad Boys movies on the streaming giant, we are far more excited for the original programming on the Netflix slate this upcoming month than we are for anything else.
That includes the return of Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) in a continuation of the Breaking Bad saga, called El Camino. It also means the return of Eddie Murphy to starring roles in the Blaxploitation comedy Dolemite is my Name. Or course, we’ll also be dialing up Martin Scorsese’s Raging Bull when it drops on October 31, because that’s a masterpiece and is worth watching every time it’s available.
As usual, the lineup you see above is subject to availability and changes. Make sure that you check your regional Netflix lineup, to know for sure that the titles me list above are going to be available in your area of operation.
