The Cord Cutter Podcast #44: Jessica Jones Season 2 Reaction

Welcome to the 44th edition of The Cord Cutter Podcast! Today Mick and Adrienne welcome guest Eric Eisenberg to go over our reactions of Jessica Jones Season 2, which debuted on Netflix last week. After almost three years, fans can finally pick up with Jessica Jones back on her eponymous series to see what kind of scrapes the super-powered detective gets herself into (and out of) this time around. This show is different from other superhero shows, even the other Marvel shows on Netflix, in that Jessica isn't 100% on board with using her powers in typical superhero ways. She would much prefer to use her sleuthing skills to follow cheating spouses than bring out her mega strength to take down a gang of evil-doers.

But, as we saw from the trailer for the new season, Jessica has set herself the daunting task of finding the people who experimented on her against her will and gave her powers. And, lucky for us, that mission is going to lead to some intriguing discoveries for Jessica, Trish, Malcolm and the rest of Jessica's friends and enemies. So, today we'll start off with a spoiler free talk to give you our basic impressions of this season, and then go over all the specifics about what we loved, hated, what we think could have worked better and our hopes for Season 3, should Netflix order it. Ready to dive in? Great! Read on to get the lowdown on this week's podcast and then listen for yourself above!
