Hope you're ready for an exciting seventh episode of HeroBlend, because we have an exciting show for you. It's only been about five-and-a-half months since the release of Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but already Disney is ready to take audiences on another adventure set a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. We are, of course, referencing the arrival of Ron Howard's Solo: A Star Wars Story. It's certainly one of the most controversial titles since the Disney era of the franchise, famously going through some serious behind-the-scenes drama as it made its way through production, and now it's arrived in theaters getting a very mixed early reaction. Naturally, that gives us a lot to talk about, and it made for a fascinating episode of the podcast!
This week's episode of HeroBlend will start off with a bit of Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel talk, followed by a spoiler-free discussion of Solo: A Star Wars Story - for those of you who haven't seen the movie yet - but after that we dive deep into the nitty gritty details of the new movie and discuss all of its many highs and lows. With Adrienne out of the office, this week has Eric going back and forth on the film with CinemaBlend Managing Editor Sean O'Connell, and both of them have some very different opinions about the final product. If you're ready, click play and dive in!
