We all know that Kris Jenner is one to keep up with fashion trends, and her daughter Kourtney Kardashian proved it in a hilarious and adorable way by sharing a photo of Jenner and her late ex-husband Robert Kardashian back in the '70s. Jenner and Robert may be sporting matching jackets and bowl cuts, but the picture of them holding their newborn daughter Kourtney in 1979 couldn't be more adorable.
Kourtney Kardashian posted the throwback photo on Monday in celebration of her late father's birthday; he would have been 73. Robert Kardashian was a defense attorney who achieved fame for defending his close friend O.J. Simpson in his 1994 murder trial. Kardashian had married Kris Kardashian (née Houghton, now Jenner) in 1978 and had four children with her, who would all go on to become reality television megastars after his death of esophageal cancer in 2003.
The Kardashian-Jenner family has spoken extensively about how much they all miss Robert Kardashian on their reality show, so of course Kourtney wasn't the only Kardashian kid to dig up some old photos to celebrate their late father's life. Kim Kardashian shared an adorable black-and-white family photo from back in the day. She also said she found an old letter her father had written her and re-read it last night, and shared a video of her and her dad at her sweet sixteen.
Robert Kardashian's only son Rob Kardashian also showed his love for his dad by sharing a couple of old photos of the two of them together. In the first post the father and son are both cheesing for the camera, and in another one a young Rob is grinning while his dad holds him on his shoulders. Rob wrote that he wishes his father was still alive to see his newborn daughter Dream Kardashian, whom he previously noted bears a striking resemblance to the late Kardashian patriarch.
And finally, Kris Jenner shared her appreciation for her late ex-husband in a series of tweets thanking him for the lessons he taught their four children and the memories that he made with her.
Awww, it's clear that though Robert Kardashian is gone, he will never be forgotten by his family.
