The Royal Wedding is over and finished. Now, it's time for the Royal Honeymoon! While it was previously speculated that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would be spending some alone time in Namibia, the couple has reportedly set sights on the Great White North, instead. Indeed, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly planning to honeymoon in Canada, specifically in Fairmonth Jaspar Park Lodge in Alberta. Located in the middle of Jasper National Park, the quiet -- and expensive -- resort will almost certainly give Harry and Meghan the relaxation they're seeking to find -- unless the paparazzi make their way up there!
The retreat will reportedly take place in the Outlook Cabin, according to TMZ. The honeymoon is still in the future, as the royal couple delayed their plans to attend to some other commitments first. Still, it looks as if Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are basically confirmed for Alberta, as the resort is currently preparing for the royal couple's arrival by gathering gear and equipment they otherwise would've acquire. It is not yet known when they'll make their way to the Canadian destination vacation, but it's going to involve both British and Canadian security whenever Harry and Meghan decide to embark on the cabin trip.
It's worth noting that the honeymoon destination has a fine history of royal and celebrity guests. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, for instance, stayed there in 1939. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, meanwhile, went there in 2005. It has also hosted John Travolta, Bill Gates, Anthony Hopkins and other high-profile celebrity guests as well. So, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are not making history with their honeymoon choice. Nevertheless, the Outlook Cabin is considered a very lovely, secluded location. It's also pretty expensive. It costs an estimated $6818.13 a night to stay there. It is a 700-acre luxury mountain resort that includes a variety of different outdoor activities, including hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, riding and many more.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have good reason to celebrate. The Royal Wedding was, by many accounts, a smashing success, with the ceremony receiving a great deal of praise for how it turned out. Meghan Markle's wedding dress was also quite a hit with (most) people, and it was a beautiful, star-studded ceremony that lived up to all the hype it has received in the past few months. Congratulations to the newly married couple! Here's hoping you find all the relaxation and comfort you wish to find soon in your impending travels.
