Turns out, things between them might not be so tense. On her story, Kim Kardashian posted a playful video with both Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian together, laughing and joking. Then Tristan Thompson went the extra step: he unblocked Kim Kardashian. And there's video to prove it too. Check it out, below.
The intimate video, which originated from Kim Kardashian West's Instagram page, shows Kim Kardashian and Tristan Thompson lounging together with Khloe Kardashian, in the background, in some nice, warm, comfortable L.A. evening weather, and there's seemingly no hard feelings between the media personality and the athlete. Tristan Thompson went ahead and proved that, on Kim K's insistence, by unblocking the Keeping Up with the Kardashians figurehead and her friends. One could argue it's all for show, but the heartfelt emotions seem sincere in the video provided, and we like to be optimistic.
The trouble began shortly before Khloe Kardashian was set to give birth to her first daughter, True Thompson. In the days leading up to the pregnancy, the Cleveland Cavaliers player was hit with a series of cheating allegations, with a sex tape to prove it. Even though they were welcoming their first child into the world together, emotions between the mother and father were fraught -- to say the least. And there were also hard feelings extended from the Kardashian clan. Shortly after the cheating rumors became public knowledge, Tristan Thompson and Kim Kardashian West blocked each other on their social media accounts. Tristan Thompson was also away from all of his social media feeds for a good while before he decided to return to promote himself professionally. It didn't go over particularly well.
Nevertheless, Kim Kardashian West and Tristan Thompson are seemingly putting the past behind them and moving forward as best they can from here. Khloe Kardashian was obviously hurt by the whole ordeal, but she reportedly wanted to keep Tristan inside her life for the sake of their newborn daughter. This video from Kim Kardashian West's Instagram page seemingly suggests that's still the plan.
