The documentary offers no shortage of revealing and heartbreaking details, but it also allows audiences around the world to remember -- or, perhaps, be introduced -- Houston's great, unprecedented musical legacy. In the spirit of celebrating Whitney Houston, Jada Pinkett Smith offered throwback photos to her social media followers. Along with a heartfelt message commemorating the undeniable singing talent, Smith offered another glimpse of Whitney Houston's private life. As Jada Pinkett Smith admits in the caption for these photos, which she claims were taken during Jaden Smith's baby shower decades earlier, Whitney Houston had a natural candor, and Jada Pinkett Smith celebrated the world-renowned musician for being so present in the moment. There weren't many people like Whitney Houston in the world -- famous or otherwise -- and Jada Pinkett Smith admits that she was taken by Whitney Houston's ability to be so open and accepting and real during that brief time they were together in their lives. While Jada Pinkett Smith doesn't have too many memories with Whitney Houston, at least she has these photos with the music legend.

In recent months, Jada Pinkett Smith has become more forthcoming about herself, her celebrity status and her life thanks to her Facebook talk show series, Red Table Talk. Jada recently opened up, for example, about her struggles with hair loss in recent years. She has also allowed guests to be forthcoming about themselves as well. In a recent episode, Jada Pinkett Smith had special guest Tiffany Haddish on, and the fellow Girls Trip star discussed the time she got stood up by Drake, which cost her a whole lot of money. How much money? She says around $100,000. Yikes.

Meanwhile, Kevin Macdonald's documentary Whitney, arriving in theaters starting tomorrow, is also earning attention for a shocking revelation it makes about Whitney Houston's early life, with the film making allegations that Houston was molested as a child. The powerful documentary is not with some other revelations about Houston's life, from her childhood to her rising career status to her devastating death in the Beverly Hills Hotel on February 11th, 2012 at the age of 48 when she drowned in a bathtub. Houston was also recently in the news thanks to Pusha-T's controversial album cover for his latest studio album, Daytona, which featured a once-private photo of Whitney Houston's disheveled bathroom. Kanye West reportedly spent $85,000 for the photo, which was a last-minute decision for the famous and controversial album producer.
