It should be noted that Priyanka Chopra is actually a good friend of Meghan Markle, and the actress attended the Royal Wedding alongside Nick Jonas earlier this year. The former Quantico actress detailed her bubbling thoughts on the build-up to the big day during a recent appearance on Andy Cohen's talk show series Watch What Happens Live on Bravo. It's worth noting that Chopra and Jonas announced their own engagement only a few months later, once Markle got settled into the married life.

Coincidence? We think not! Though, truth be told, it might have been the result of the photographer and not the subjects. As Instagram commenters have been quick to point out, the photos were taken by the same person behind the lens, and it might simply be the style of the person behind the camera rather than a deliberate attempt on Priyanka Chopra's end to copy her friend's pose. Though it should be stressed, the jury is still out there...
Ultimately, the photos are different enough that they can both be appreciated on their own, away from comparisons. Though if Priyanka Chopra was somehow trying to one-up her friend Meghan Markle, particularly whenever she decides to get married to her own man, then she certainly has a ways to go before she can come close to topping the ceremony the newly appointed Duchess of Sussex achieved back in May. That wedding was basically as stunning as weddings come, and while that's not to say that the upcoming nuptials between Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra isn't going to be a lovely occasion, it is going to take some major effort to even come close.
