Amanda Bynes Chased By Police Helicopter After Fender Bender

Most people have one stupid and bizarre getting pulled over story. Let the record show Amanada Bynes now has two. After getting arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence last month when she reportedly plowed into a police officer’s car, the former All That star made another vehicular memory last night, and somehow, this one might even be stranger than the last.

According to TMZ, Bynes was driving last night when she reportedly clipped another vehicle while trying to pass. The enraged driver called 911 saying he was the victim of a hit-and-run, and authorities responded by sending a few squad cars and a helicopter to track the actress’ vehicle. Shortly thereafter, all the responders caught up with Bynes, and after pulling over, she reportedly claimed to have no idea she brushed against the other car. An inspection of her vehicle found almost no damage, leading police to believe she actually may have not noticed the extremely minor collision.

Had this weird incident occurred two months ago, it’s unlikely anyone would have cared. After all, fender benders happen all the time, even to celebrities, but since the actress’ misfortune happened just a month after her last brush with cops, it seems to expose a pattern of either out-of-control behavior or really shitty driving. Either way, it suddenly seems newsworthy.

By all accounts, Bynes was affable and responsible after she was ultimately pulled over, exchanging information with the other driver and cooperating with police. Here’s to hoping this is the last we hear about her actions behind the wheel for at least the next few years.
