Cher Blasts Miley’s Dancing, Body And Fashion Sense, Too Harsh Or On Point?

Since Miley Cyrus’ performance at the Video Music Awards, she’s been criticized from damn near every angle. She’s been taken to task by fans, by members of the media and if rumors are to be believed, even by her former fiancé. None of those middle fingers, however, even compare to the toxic bomb Cher decided to drop this week.
In an interview with USA Today, Cher took the bleach blonde singer to task for a wide variety of issues, none of which were for being inappropriate or whorish or too sexually forward.
"I'm not old-fashioned. She could have come out naked, and if she'd just rocked the house, I would have said, 'You go, girl.' It just wasn't done well. She can't dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn't great, one cheek was hanging out. And, chick, don't stick out your tongue if it's coated."
There’s something about Cher’s words that seem extra harsh because of all the time she’s spent on stage. It’s one thing to be criticized by a member of the general public who doesn’t know shit about performing. That sting can be easily brushed off. It’s quite another to be slammed by a woman who has spent her entire life doing exactly what you’re trying to do to great success.
Just because her comments were harsh doesn’t necessarily mean they were inappropriate, however. Cher isn’t the first woman who has pointed out Miley isn’t exactly an ace at twerking, and she’s definitely not the first person to caution the starlet against wagging her tongue around.
