Honey Boo Boo's Cousin Crazy Tony Arrested For Drunken Gorilla Suit Antics

Tony “Crazy” Lindsey, better known as Honey Boo Boo’s redneck cousin, was busted by Georgia police earlier this month for some wild Southern shenanigans. Outfitted with plenty of booze and a wild costume, the four wheeler enthusiast and his crew of four adults and two children reportedly tried to frighten passing cars by jumping into the road with a gorilla suit on, but after one of the drivers turned out to be a police officer, the drunken scheme went south in a hurry.

According to TMZ, Deputy Joe Rozier pulled over immediately to find out what the hell was going on, prompting Lindsey and company to flee into the woods. The officer reportedly gave chase and threatened to release the K-9 unit before all five of the adults and the two children sheepishly returned. None were in possession of the gorilla suit, but after some firm questions, at least one of them folded and admitted the costume was stashed in the woods.

All of the adults were officially booked for reckless conduct. Given the nature of their alleged crime, it’s unlikely they’ll be looking at much more than a slap on the wrist, but between court costs and time lost, they should each get a pretty annoying punishment. Plus, to look on the bright side, watching their fathers get arrested for dumb hooliganism might be enough to keep these kids on the straight and narrow for the foreseeable future.
