Are You Sad Jennifer Aniston Is No Longer Getting Naked In Wanderlust?

During the filming of Wanderlust, Jennifer Aniston appeared topless. For most other actresses, that would hardly be newsworthy, but considering how long Aniston has gone keeping her clothes on or at least her unmentionables covered, the news raced around the internet from fanboy to fanboy. Admittedly, I was also a bit excited by the prospect of seeing Rachel properly naked too, but now it seems that longing will prove nothing more than a pipedream.

As her relationship with new boyfriend Justin Theroux strengthened, Aniston started having second thoughts about showing her boobs to the world. This apprehension reportedly climaxed as the movie’s release date neared and prompted her to plead for another take to be used. At least that’s the story coming from Reuters. The outlet claims the scene in question was shot a bunch of different ways so another take was ultimately chosen to accommodate Aniston’s request. The actress’ publicist however released a statement saying the version that ended up in the film was the one the director wanted.

That’s not quite an admission by her publicist, but I feel like it does add some validity to the story. So, for all intents and purposes, Jennifer Aniston probably decided, after she got a new boyfriend, that her breasts were off limits. That’s a code of behavior I can respect, but it’s also a code of behavior that not a lot of other actresses follow. A whole lot of women with husbands or fiancés or boyfriends or girlfriends do disrobe for various roles.

Regardless of why the modesty happened however, the censors are in play, which means when Wanderlust opens next week, you won't be able to see Jennifer Aniston's boobs. Which naturally begs the question: are you disappointed? Let us know by voting in the poll below...
