That's So Raven Reboot Has Its First Trailer, Watch It Now

The first trailer for the That's So Raven reboot has arrived, and it's pretty amazing. Watch it now, and read more about Raven's Home below:

For anyone worried that Raven's Home wasn't going to deliver the same vibes That's So Raven did back in the day, they can stop worrying. It looks like Raven's psychic abilities have been inherited by her younger son Booker (Issac Brown), who appears to be the lead in this whole new adventure. Can I just say how wild it is that Raven-Symoné and Anneliese van der Pol don't look much older than when they were last on the show in 2007? No one else from the original cast is seen in the trailer, so I guess we'll have to wait for the premiere on July 21st to see if Orlando Brown, Kyle Massey or others who were central to the original series make an appearance. Do you think Cory Baxter is still in the White House? These are the questions I'm hoping Raven's Home will answer.

While the core concept from That's So Raven appears to be in Raven's Home, there are a few differences. For example, Booker's sister, Nia, is his twin where Cory was the younger brother to Raven in the original series. The whole twin element makes you wonder if Nia (Navia Robinson) might also get the psychic ability for some double trouble going on with foresight. The trailer also doesn't reveal whether or not Raven still has her power, so there's a chance this whole family could be clairvoyant!

While she may or may not still have her psychic abilities, there's no denying Raven-Symoné has not lost a step in her comedic chops in Raven's Home. Symoné has the same silliness on display that made That's So Raven a hit back in the day, and (fingers crossed) will make Raven's Home as big of a hit. I'll admit I was a little skeptical Symoné would deliver when I first heard about this, but it only took one tennis ball bounce off her butt to change my mind. I'm already betting this show is going to be a big hit with the young kids.

As mentioned, Raven's Home is set to premiere July 21st on Disney Channel right after the premiere of Descendants 2. Sounds like it'll be a packed night for Disney-loving families. If the kids will be locked in on a television for a couple hours, now might be the time for you to find something to binge on your tablet while they're preoccupied.
