Report Alleges Jay Cutler Often Made Kristin Cavallari Cry On Very Cavallari Show

Fans were pretty shocked last weekend when the stars of the E! reality show Very Cavallari, Kristin Cavallari and her husband Jay Cutler, announced that they were divorcing after seven years of marriage and a total of a decade together as a couple. While the statement they put out about their divorce made things seem pretty amicable, it hasn't taken long for reports of additional drama in their relationship to come to light. Now we're hearing that things were so bad, Cutler actually made Cavallari cry on the set of their show.

We've seen the couple go through quite a few ups and downs on Very Cavallari, and they've certainly been annoyed with one another at many points during the three seasons of the show. But, the idea that Jay Cutler was routinely so mean or inconsiderate that he made Kristin Cavallari cry might seem like a bit much, with what has been shown to us on Very Cavallari. This is exactly what a source, who is said to be a friend of Cavallari's, has told People, though.

He would make her cry all the time during production. He talked down to her and belittled her. She couldn't take it anymore.

Another source has taken the details even further, saying that the divorcing duo have been "struggling" with their marriage for "at least three years," and noting that Cavallari has been unhappy with Cutler's behavior and the relationship for quite some time. This source added that Cutler frequently "flies off the handle at the littlest thing and would make Kristin absolutely miserable."

It was just two days after news broke that Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler were divorcing that the papers filed by the pair revealed some of the drama behind the scenes. While they both cited "irreconcilable differences," Cavallari also added that Cutler was "guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper." It's thought that this might have been to paint Cutler in a negative light, so that Cavallari could be granted full custody of the couple's three children.

The issue of custody for those kids became important when Cutler filed and noted that he has been the "at-home parent" providing the main care for their daughter and two sons. But, if these new allegations of him belittling Cavallari in front of others to the point where she cries are true, then it makes total sense that she would add "inappropriate marital conduct" to her filing, regardless of her desire for full custody. New documents filed since then have also alleged that Cutler has been trying to start arguments in front of their kids, while also saying "inappropriate" things "to and about" her in front of them.

On Very Cavallari, Jay Cutler's moodiness, snide tendencies and out-right meanness are usually played off as being a joke, even though it's usually clear that he, at the very least, doesn't have a ton of interest in his wife's business pursuits, and, at worst, is pretty much over every aspect of his life with her. There have been some hints that he's not playing around, though. Just take a look at this clip, where it's obvious Cutler upset Kristin Cavallari in front of their friends:

Ugh. We may never know what the truth of the relationship between Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cuter was, but with how quickly details are coming out, it's likely that even more information about the divorce will be revealed, as well as the result of the brewing custody battle.
