Sounds Like Kristin Cavallari And Jay Cutler's Divorce Might Be More Troubled Than Originally Stated

Kristin Cavallari Very Cavallari E!

Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari's surprise divorce announcement hit Very Cavallari fans like a ton of bricks, especially after many watched them chronicle their family quarantine in the Bahamas. Things looked good between the two, so, initially, it was easy to believe the divorce proceedings were as amicable and easy-going as the couple's joint statement to the public alleged it to be.

Now, on the heels of the latest divorce proceedings, there are allegations that the circumstances which led to the divorce are more troubled that what was originally stated. In Touch reported that while the situation was presented as two people merely growing apart, a source has said that there are some other factors which led to this split.

They say they’re splitting on good terms now, but trust me, it’s not going to last. There’s some dirt and drama there that we don’t know about it yet, but it will eventually come out.

As far as what dirt and drama there may be can only be speculated on, as the source did not divulge details. It was reported that Kristen Cavallari noted that Cutler was guilty of "Inappropriate Marital Conduct" in their divorce filings, which could be an indicator of the drama that has yet to come to light. Others have pointed out that Tennessee (where the couple live) is a "fault" state, which means a reason must be filed for a couple to be able to apply for divorce, and that the reason listed in the filing could just be a formality.

Very Cavallari viewers are aware the couple were plagued with marital issues when rumors surfaced that Jay Cutler had an affair with Kristin Cavallari's friend Kelly Henderson. All parties involved denied those allegations at the time, but, obviously, the recent situation has led some fans to call everything previously reported about the couple's drama into question. It's worth noting that the same insider who implied there's more to the split than the public knows added that Cavallari is determined not to let the divorce affect her overall brand.

A determination like that would convince most couples to keep messy situations out of the public limelight, not to mention that most people wouldn't like seeing their dirty laundry aired out for tabloids. It's completely understandable that Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler wouldn't want intimate details of what led to their failed marriage out in the universe, but those details may come to light in the coming weeks as the two push for primary custody of their children.

Amidst all of this, there have been no announcements on whether or not Very Cavallari Season 4 will happen. One would think the series wouldn't be hard to pick back up without Jay Cutler, or even a version that follows both as they lead their separate lives. Reality couples have not let divorce come in the way of their shows in the past, so fans shouldn't assume the show's cancellation is a foregone conclusion.

Very Cavallari is available to stream on Hulu. Stick with CinemaBlend for more updates on reality TV, and for more on what's happening with movies and television in general for the foreseeable future.
