Bella Thorne is still working to shed her Disney image and be true to her own acting spirit years after her run on Shake It Up ended. The actress recently got into the business of creating artistic porn with her directorial debut Her & Him and next up she’s getting back to her acting roots with Paradise City, an upcoming TV series in which she’s now promising an orgy will be one of many major moments.
Paradise City is a spinoff to the movie American Satan and will star some original members of the 2017 film, which was directed by Ash Avildsen. Bella Thorne is joining the new TV version -- playing a role Jesse Sullivan played in the movie -- as is the late Disney star Cameron Boyce in one of his last roles. Per the actress, expect and orgy.

In an interview with V Magazine, Bella Thorne talked a little bit about her gig in Paradise City, pointing out there’s “an actual orgy” in the series, which has been filmed and has a trailer but has yet to land a network or streaming service to air. In the first look at the upcoming series, there’s seemingly a hint at that orgy scene, as Bella Thorne’s character hooks up with a lady while seemingly there are others around, although there are mirrors too, so perhaps this isn’t the scene in question. Meanwhile, it would make a lot of sense, given the information she just gave us about the upcoming TV show.
Namely, Bella Thorne has taken great strides to really stand out as someone who is into sexual exploration and more. Earlier this year she got into directorial work, creating a porn film that explores themes like gender dynamics and dominance/submissive traits in relationships.
She also told the magazine that in her quest to escape her “clean image” from her Disney days, she may now be even more misunderstood.
I am the definition of a misunderstood bitch in this industry. People think of me as this young party girl who’s like, I’m just going to do this and do that because I want to and I don’t give a fuck. And I’m always like, I’m sorry guys. When did I say I don’t give a fuck? I literally do give a fuck. It would be ridiculous to say that anybody doesn’t give a fuck because of course we do. We’re all insecure human beings that care what people think about us. Let’s not be ridiculous.
I can imagine it’s hard enough being a famous person who is open and honest and seemingly understood by the public. It’s likely much harder to be someone who is a celebrity who feels his or her image is a very different from how the public perceives them, as Bella Thorne seems to be intimating.
