Take heart Stranger Things fans, Season 4 has just taken a major step forward. The show has been on hiatus since the coronavirus pandemic caused a massive shutdown in the television and movie industry. There has been a bit of hopeful news on production during the sabbatical, but this latest development is a huge boost. Check it out:

Stranger Things will reportedly be one of the first series to start filming when restrictions lift, and now it has what it needs to shoot Season 4 entirely. The writers of Stranger Things have apparently finished writing the entire season! To say it is a significant development would be putting it mildly. It's nice to see that the staff has been busy during the hiatus.

This means that all that is left is to get Stranger Things filming Season 4, and post-production, which will happen after filming is done, of course. It's also crazy to consider that whatever questions you are currently wrestling with regarding the upcoming installment may indeed lie in that stack of pages. For instance, what brings the Eleven and the Byers family back to Hawkins in the new season?

Who knew that a seemingly small stack of paper could possess so much intrigue? You just got a complete peek at the scripts for Stranger Things Season 4. Okay, so it may not have been an inside look, but it's still exciting. Stranger ThingsNoah Schnapp previously expressed excitement over the first four scripts that he'd read.

If that's not enough to get you pumped for Season 4, then consider everything that is known so far about it. First off, Hopper is somehow alive. Let your mind continue to think up theories as to how that happened. And even though he is still among the living, Hopper will apparently be different when Stranger Things returns, which just makes things all the more interesting.

Coincidentally, Hopper actor David Harbour has indicated that Season 4 could (emphasis on could) be delayed from its initial release date due to the coronavirus pandemic. According to the actor, it was supposed to premiere in early 2021.

While it is upsetting that the date is now up in the air, there is some uplifting news when it comes to how much Stranger Things fans will see of certain characters. Fans should see a lot more of Lucas’ sister, Erica and Russian-speaking ally, Murray Bauman, as both characters’ portrayers were upgraded to series regulars for Season 4.

While we don't know much about the season, it seems primed to start off with a bang, as the first episode's title contains a pretty significant X-Men reference. Prepare for some “Hellfire” to be unleashed. I wonder what other episode titles lie in that big stack of scripts.

Watch previous seasons of Stranger Things on Netflix, along with lots of new 2020 content. A release date for Season 4 has not been formally confirmed by Netflix but, while we're waiting for word, there will be plenty of summer premieres to keep you entertained.
