90 Day Fiance's Has Revealed Jihoon's Reason For Not Getting A Full-Time Job And Wow

Jihoon 90 Day Fiance TLC

Warning! The following contains spoilers for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way's upcoming episode on Monday, July 13. Read at your own risk!

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has been quite a stressful time for the couples so far, with everyone dealing with some sort of drama. For Deaven Clegg and Jihoon Lee, the current drama is tied to Deaven's move to Seoul, and Jihoon's lie that he's doing all he can to provide the life he promised her.

Ahead of the latest episode, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has revealed (via E! Online) the reason behind Jihoon's lie and lack of a full-time job. Spoiler alert, it's not because he couldn't get one. Here's what Jihoon told Deaven after their big fight in last week's episode.

I decided to work as a part-time delivery man because I can rest when I want to rest. On good months, I earned between $2000 to $3000.

Jihoon gets points for honesty, though probably lost a ton more for the excuse. Deaven expected Jihoon to have a full-time job, and for it to be good enough for her to be able to stay home with the children. Jihoon promised all that was coming, but in reality, prioritized a job that allowed for midday naps.

As 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers may have guessed, Deaven did not respond well to the news. Deaven explained to her husband she understood what he was saying but wasn't happy about it considering the amount of work she had to do in America to afford the apartment in Seoul they're currently staying in.

I was very tired, yet I was working 17 hours a day while taking care of the kids.

The preview doesn't show what comes after the conversation, but with Deaven's mom still in Seoul and already worked up about the safety of the neighborhood they're in, I can't imagine this conversation smoothed things over. Deaven's threat of leaving South Korea with her kids is still on the table at this point, though we know enough through social media activity that Deaven will ultimately stay in South Korea.

Whether that's because Jihoon stepped up and got a full-time job, or Deaven is committed to keeping her children with their father is unclear. The good news is the couple seems to be alright at the moment, though Deaven was recently revealed to be back in America "visiting family." Fans will have to wait and see if the situation improves for them going forward, or if Jihoon's troubles have pushed Deaven back to Utah once again.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way airs on TLC Mondays at 9:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for more on what's happening in the franchise, and for the latest news happening in television and movies.
