If you’ve been keeping tabs on the ladies and gentlemen making up the Hallmark family in recent weeks, you probably already know that varying casts have been quarantining together. This includes the cast of the popular Aurora Teagarden films. Recently, Candace Cameron Bure and her on-screen mom Marilu Henner decided to answer some fun questions during quarantine, chief among them: Which Aurora Teagarden film is their personal favorite?

What better way to do this than during a game of “Never Have I Ever” on Instagram which yielded some fun facts about the women finding love on sets (Bure hasn’t, Henner has) and whether or not they’ve gone skinny-dipping (Yes!)? They were also asked about which Aurora Teagarden flick or episode – and there are a lot of them – has stuck with them over the years. Intriguingly, both stars had the same answer.

Candace Cameron Bure: OK my favorite one still is The Julius House.Marilu Henner: We both love that. It’s our favorite. There’s something about that script that is surprising and you got to do stunts. It was just really a special one.

The Julius House: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery is a Hallmark Movies and Mystery event that originally came out back in 2016. If the name doesn’t ring a bell but you’ve seen most of the movies, this is the movie following Aurora Teagarden after she buys a house. She learns the previous family disappeared several years prior and resolves to solve the mystery.

To be honest, I’ve seen pretty much all of these movies, but what I like about The Julius House and what I think helps the movie to stand out is the cold case aspect. It’s well-written too, with a clever ending that should be satisfying for most viewers. And, like other Aurora Teagarden-led stories, this one also is based on a book by Charlaine Harris. So if you like it you can always read The Julius House (Aurora Teagarden Mysteries Book 4). If you don't the "Never Have I Ever" session is still worth a watch. There's even an appearance by Marilu Henner's total recall memory when skinny-dipping is discussed.

Candace Cameron Bure is currently set to film back-to-back Hallmark movies in British Columbia and like other Hallmark actors got a special visa to resume filming there. The first is the new Aurora Teagarden film. The second will be a holiday movie, If I Only Had Christmas. She, Marilu Henner and the rest of the gang had previously been at work on Aurora Teagarden’s latest when production shut down last spring.

Meanwhile, Candace Cameron Bure has openly detailed how Hallmark productions are getting back to work, if you’re interested. Suffice to say, we should finally be getting a little more new content come fall. Meanwhile, if you'd like to know more about Hallmark's holiday lineup, take a look at our guide.
