Khloe Kardashian on Keeping Up with the Kardashians

Khloe Kardashian is no stranger to being in a relationship with a professional athlete. The reality TV star was previously married to NBA veteran Lamar Odom for seven years and, for the last few years, she’s had an on and off relationship with Tristian Thompson. Despite what the two have been through, they still appear to be together, and their relationship has just experienced a pretty interesting development.

It was recently reported by news outlets like ESPN that Tristian Thompson, who’s been with the Cleveland Cavaliers since he was drafted in 2011, has signed a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics. Naturally, NBA fans are discussing the potential impact he might have on the team. But on the other side of the spectrum, fans of Khloe Kardashian are sharing their thoughts on her potentially becoming a presence in the city of Boston.

While fans certainly have thoughts about Thompson switching teams, it appears that some fans are a bit more hyped to see a Kardashian arrive in the city. One fan humorously summed this up in a tweet:

Boston has a number of native celebrities, including stars like Chris Evans and Mark Wahlberg, but a Kardashian would bring a new layer of celebrity to the city. As such, fans are currently making plans for her potential arrival:

Since Thompson is now a Celtic, it’s likely that Kardashian will, at the very least, attend a few games during the upcoming season. Many Lakers fans will remember that she was present at a number of games when she was married to Lamar Odom. With this in mind, some fans are already shooting their shot and vying to join the starlet at games:

Of course, fans weren’t the only ones to react to the news of Khloe Kardashian possibly hearing to Boston. FanSided’s Ramblin’Fan also made a hilarious point about how the Celtics now have a chance to cash in on Keeping Up with the Kardashians:

Khloe Kardashian previously experienced a change of scenery while she was married to Lamar Odom, which came when the Lakers traded the two-time NBA champion to the Dallas Mavericks. Their new start in the city would become one of the focal points of their short-lived reality show. Kardashian later lived with Thompson in Ohio, during part of his stint with the Cavaliers.

It’s important to note that there’s no guarantee that Kardashian will suddenly start spending the majority of her time in Boston. However, given her commitment in the past, it’s not crazy to think that she’ll probably be spotted at a game every so often.

As a Celtics fan, I can definitely say that it’ll be interesting to see how Tristian Thompson meshes with the storied team. And Boston fans may want to keep their eyes peeled for any Kardashians around Beantown.

We’ll see if this news makes it into the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which will premiere on E! in 2021.
